Greater Johnstown Cheerleading

This season, the Greater Johnstown cheerleaders achieved success.

At the start of the season the Lady Trojans went strong with a 8-0 winning streak. Then as the season went on they made even bigger competitions leading them to win the PIAA District 6 title for the third time in a row and also moved on winning IUP Pennsylvania States making them 10-0. The girls were in the gym every day of the week working harder than ever to get ready for the PIAA States and shortly after that, High School Nationals in Orlando, Florida. 

At PIAA states in Hershey, the girls did pretty well placing 6th out of 48 teams for the small varsity division. At the High school Nationals, the girls did really well in prelims and was in second place going to semifinals. But unfortunately semifinals didn't go how they liked, and they had to many mistakes and didn't make it to finals. Then finally, the girls competed for their last time this season at High School Worlds and did a really good job placing 3rd in the world, ending their 2016-2017 cheer season.
