The Affordable Care Act, or ObamaCare, is a highly debated order. Liberals want to keep it while conservatives wish to scrap it. When the ACA was released, it started a lot of conflict. Many citizens questioned whether or not there should be some forms of universal healthcare. Universal care simply means that all citizens have free healthcare, covered by the government.

So, should the US implement a universal healthcare program?

Liberals say yes. Universal healthcare programs will assist those less fortunate, who can't afford to pay outrageous premiums. It can be funded by taxing the wealthy and major corporations. Lastly, in America, it has been stated that citizens have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. All of these are compromised if one is sick.

Conservatives say no. Universal healthcare will benefit those who choose to sit at home, and not attempt to get a job. Having to pay for healthcare will motivate them to get a job. Even if the wealthy are taxed, the government will still have to cover costs.
