Working in high school has its pros and cons. When it comes to social events at my school (sport games, dances, clubs, etc.) I usually chose work then to attend the events. Sometimes, I do think I am missing out. But other times, I'm having more fun at work with my co-workers. When I do get the chance to have a day off, I'll have spending money for such events and hanging out with my friends. I have learned a lot through my job from a formal table setting to an interview. Most of my co-workers attend the school as me. Luckily, I have classes with most.

I think I made the right decision for myself working while in high school.
