A hearty
congratulations to Ava Morgan, a sophomore, who has recently learned she won a scholarship from the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange. This is a fully funded scholarship sponsored by the American Congress and the German Congress for Ava to study for a year in Germany. She will leave in August of this year, spend a month in language study, and then in September she will move in with a host family. She will do her entire junior year going to a German school and taking all her classes in German. She will return to Ephrata as a senior, fully fluent in German and have had a life-changing experience in terms of her world view. Heartfelt
congratulations to Ava Morgan for accepting the challenge! We celebrate with you Ava on taking this opportunity!
