Need a tasty treat for an after-dinner snack or maybe a "salad" to bring to a party? Try this quick and easy recipe for Snicker Salad! It is the perfect mix of sweet, but not “bursting into rainbows” sweet.
What you need:
1 (3.4 oz) instant butterscotch pudding mix packet
1 cup of milk (it doesn't matter which kind)
1 (6 oz) package of whipped cream topping
6 full-size Snickers bars
3 Granny Smith apples
Directions:
Step 1: Cut full-size Snickers bars into bite-size pieces and place off to the side. I would recommend cutting 6-7 lines horizontally and one across for your pieces.
Step 2: Cut all 3 Granny Smith apples into bite-size pieces and place off to the side. Try to match the size of your cut up Snickers bars.
Step 3: Whisk butterscotch pudding mix into milk in a bowl until the mixture reaches a pudding-like consistency.
Step 4: Stir the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until what was once two smooth ingredients happily marries into one.
Step 5: Add apple and Snickers bites into the pudding mixture. Mix everything to your liking and enjoy!
In conclusion, this is arguably one of the simplest recipes around. Although I am only referencing this one recipe, there are plenty more on the internet, or maybe a special family ingredient you should ask Grandma about!
