The only thing that can wrap up the movie screen high school experience is to dance the night away with your best buds. Whether you're dressed to the nines or in your casual attire, there is a place for everyone at Columbus High School’s Winter Informal.

The Winter Informal will be on Saturday, January 21 from 9 pm to midnight. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased January 16-19. They will be sold before school, after school and during lunch. 

It is the student’s choice if to dress formally or informally. CHS wants the dance to be completely inclusive - something that is fun and comfortable for all attendants. The good news is you won’t have to break the bank for glitter and ruffles; just come as you are! You can also bring a change of clothes if you want to be formal for dancing and casual for the gym full of games next door to the dancing floor.

The games at this year’s event are sure to please. You can play laser tag, dodgeball, cornhole and vision-impaired goggle basketball. These and other games can earn you tickets for one of the grand prizes. Show off your skills to win a 55” TV, AirPods, Airpods Pros or a JBL Bluetooth speaker!

To keep up the enthusiastic energy, the concession stands will be open selling a variety of drinks and snacks. Whether you’re in it for the dance, the games or the snacks, Winter Informal is the perfect chance to have lots of fun and make lifelong memories with your best friends.
