A reminder to all students that the second semester begins on Tuesday, January 17th.  

 

You will not be receiving a paper copy of your 2nd semester schedule.  Instead, you should be sure to check it out through the PowerSchool portal asap.  You can do this by clicking on “My Schedule” from the menu on the left side of the home screen.  Then click on the “Matrix View” Tab which is located above your schedule.  The default is “week view” – which shows this week only.  Beginning January 16th, you will see your 2nd semester classes by default.

 

If you want to add a course in place of a study hall, check the open class listing which is available on the EHS Counseling webpage, and Schoology message your counselor with the name of the course and the period that you are switching with a study hall.

 

If you changed your mind and wish to drop a course, we need you to have your parent email your counselor with the requested change.

Attention all 11th graders:  Now is the time for you to sign up for a time slot for your individual junior transition meeting with your counselor.  These meetings begin on January 24th and signup information can be found on the EHS Counseling Department website as well as Schoology.  Sign up for a slot as soon as possible and be sure to pick a date and time that works best with your schedule.  If you have a study hall, you will definitely want to choose that period.  Heck, why not do it right now- pull out your laptop and pick a date and time.

Today is NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY
Across the country on January 9th each year, citizens take the lead to show support on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. A special thanks goes to Officer Hirneisen for all he does in his role at EHS!

Attention Mountaineer Editors! Setup will take place on after school today in room 318. Attendance is mandatory unless you complete the page ahead of time.

Attention Ski & Snowboard Club:  Final $40 deposit and ALL paperwork is due TODAY!!  Please get these items turned in to Brimhall or Shortuse by 3:00 today. As of now we plan to do our first trip this Thursday but stay tuned to Ephrata AM for further information about our Bear Creek trips.  We are totally weather dependent and can only ski if the mountain is open.  Also, be sure to check your Schoology messages for club updates.

Friday basketball played Manheim Central. The boys lost 37-54 with top scoring coming from Trent Wolf and Dylan Mahlandt each with 12. The girls lost as well 31-17. Saturday, wrestling lost to Northern Lebanon, and won vs Northern Lehigh at the Pottsville Duals.

 

Today,  bowling is away at E town
