CHS bowlers are not gutterball gurus. From their strikes to their team members, CHS Bowling is a great team to have representing our school. While their past success is undeniable, Coach Robert Jaster still has lofty expectations and goals for this year's squad.
Jaster says, "Some top players are Ryland Prokepec, Gavin Unger and Colin Jaster." In addition, Emma Moore and Milo Quiny represent the girls team and make up some top players for the team. Moore explained, "The other players for the girls' team have not competed yet, so we don't know their scores yet."
Both teams would like to see improvement in all aspects of the game to allow them to qualify for state at the end of the year. Some goals for the boys team are improving performance in baker games and strike and spare conversions. They would also like to win HAC conference, districts and state. Moore would like to make it state, improve her score and stay mentally tough during matches.
Jaster would like people to know that if the program keeps growing each year, they will have more competition in practice and develop more competitive teams for matches. Moore would like people to know that the bowling team is a welcoming environment that keeps the positive energy up and always has fun.
If you are interested in joining the Bowling team, get in touch with Robert Jaster or Emma Moore and they will help get you started!
