Instead of sports today, We'd like to feature our FFA students. The Cloister FFA is proud to announce the results of fall regional CDEs. Our chapter was very well represented last Tuesday, competing against students from other chapters in Schuylkill, Lebanon, Berks, Chester, and Philadelphia counties in a variety of agricultural topics. Contestants in both the forestry and horse evaluation contests also braved the frigid temperatures. Without further ado, here are the results:
In Forestry:
Erik Guzman Moreno 28th in the county
Megan Rebuck 27th in the county
Jordan Crabbe 23rd in the county
Marie Frey 16th in the county
Gabby Rios 13th in the county
Mathias Sweigart 11th in the county
Lauren Rissler 9th in the county
And 4th in the county and 8th overall out of 53 contestants…junior Hayden Leonhard
In Aquatics: placing 1st in the county and 9th overall out of 74…junior Brendon Martin
And last but certainly not least, in Horse Evaluation: placing 6th in the county and 18th overall out of 126 contestants…sophomore Emily White
If you see any individuals in the hallway, give them a fist bump to help celebrate their accomplishments!
