CHS Baker's Dozen and Neptune's Angels will kick off their next spectacular revue this month!
While they will not give an official performance until February, director Jacob Ritter said the groups will learn one song for the holiday concert on Sunday, December 18.
Mr. Ritter is also anticipating that there will be 3 to 4 competitive opportunities for both of these groups this year. Mr. Ritter is excited to work with talented students and watch them build and express their love for music. Ritter especially loves the camaraderie that constantly builds up in the groups every single year.
As far as competitions go, Ritter expects stiff competition from some of their in-state rivals, like Brownell Talbot's Private Radio in Omaha, Pius X in Lincoln, Grenta High School, or any of the dark horse groups that can blow the competition away. Rather than dwell on how to outdo the competition, Ritter, Baker's Dozen, and Neptune's Angels will be working hard to give any competition their very best.
Ritter expects the choir's strength to be the level of excellence that they ask of themselves every day. Overall they are good at what they do and every student, "brings something to the group that makes us better!"
Overall, It shows us how much effort Mr. Ritter does for the students and how much he cares about them. Make sure to be updated on the upcoming events of the CHS Choir so you can join in the fun. Please follow us at CHSAnchorNews on Twitter, Instagram, and on Fusfoo.
