Attention anyone planning to play football next fall: There we will an informational meeting on Wednesday November 9th at 3:15 in room 110. We will be going over the plan for lifting this offseason. Please make arrangements to attend. Please see Coach Miller if you have any questions, or if you are unable to attend.
Volleyball will be playing tomorrow night at the number 2 seed from Section 1- Unionville HS in Kennett Square in their first trip to the State tournament in school history.
Person 1: Tis The Season is Back everyone.
Person 2: That’s right, and for anyone that has no idea what we’re talking about, Tis the Season is a game show run by none other than Mr. Marzock where he asks the most absurd questions unrelated to Christmas, wears ridiculous sweaters, and pins teachers and students against one another in order to raise money for local Ephrata Families this Holiday Season.
Person 1: Students find a teacher to represent them in the game show, form a team of students around that teacher, raise a minimum of $40 and duel with pure unfiltered knowledge!
Person2: Now, even though the minimum amount is $40, each team can and should raise as much as they can. Not only because of the families, but the teams that raise the most money in Round One regardless of whether they win, will receive tons of Merch for their team and everyone the represent.
Person 1: Now, with Homeroom not meeting daily, Tis the Season will be a bit different this year. Instead of the teacher representing their Homeroom, this year that teacher can represent a class, a sport, an organization, a club, or any other activity that works.
Person 2: Are you in Band or Orchestra? How about asking Mr. Nye or Mr. Goss?
Person 1: Are you a football player? Ask Coach Miller!
Person 2: Are you a member of Chess Club? Ask Mr. Kellogg!
Person 1: Maybe your entire Spanish 4 class is super tight? Well, get everyone together and ask Senior Cerullo!
Person 2: However, I’d get on that quick before the entire girls basketball team scoops him up first!
Person 1: Or maybe Mrs. Calhoun rallies Link Crew to get a team together and destroys everyone.
Person 2: The more money you raise for the families, the more outstanding prizes, parties, and Marzock Merch, and even Let’s Go! Merch as well.
Person 1: Whether it be a course, class, club, sport, activity, you name it, get that teacher and form that team with a minimum of $40 by Nov 22nd.
Person 2: Currently, we have no cap on teams AND no cap on team size as long as everyone is raising a minimum amount per team. And that minimum amount can be designated by the teacher.
Person 1: So, why not form a team and join in the fun that some critics are saying they’d hug if the show was corporeal.
Person 2: Stop down to see Mr. Marzock with any questions at any time.
