Are you looking for fun activities to add to your to-do list this fall? Well, look no further! This article will include everything you need to have a good time this autumn.
Let's start off with a family favorite - Pumpkin Patches! A pumpkin patch is one way to go if you're looking for something to do for a whole day. There are so many options for activities at a pumpkin patch too. One can tackle corn mazes, zip lines, bouncy pillows and even corn pits for the littles. Sometimes there are petting zoos and haunted houses too. However, you can't forget the pumpkin patch itself. When you need a break from all that fun, you can buy a nice warm cup of cider, hot cocoa and maybe even a candy apple if you're lucky.
Maybe while you were at a pumpkin patch, you bought some lovely, gigantic pumpkins. Those very pumpkins you brought home are another cornucopia of activities in and of themselves! Painting pumpkins is one of the easier things to do that's still enjoyable for all ages. You could paint a design, a spooky face or even something as simple as "Happy Fall."
If you're looking for more of a challenge with your pumpkins, you can carve them. Like with the painting, you can cut a design, a spooky face or a phrase. Carving takes a lot of work, but it's an exciting experience. After you've gutted the pumpkins for carving, you can take the pumpkin seeds, wash them off, put some seasonings or spices on them, bake them and then enjoy a delicious snack.
Another project you can do with your pumpkins is create a hole at the bottom big enough to fit a head inside. Then, carve a face into them, gather a friend or two and put your heads inside the pumpkins. You can even share a pumpkin head with your closest friends (literally and figuratively). It makes for a fun and silly activity that can result in great pictures and memories.
Does all this leaving the house sound like too much? Are you someone who wants to stay home to enjoy the fall season? If so, then I have the perfect idea for you. All you'll need is blankets and fuzzy socks. You'll also need a few movies and definitely hot cocoa, warm apple cider, or a fall coffee drink if you like coffee. If it's cold outside, start a fire in the fireplace. Invite some friends or family to do it with you, and you're all set.
Another stay-at-home option is to throw a fall or Halloween-themed party. You'll need to get a bunch of fall-themed snacks, drinks and decorations. If you want, you could even have some games prepared, like apple bobbing.
These activities are just a few that you can add to your list of fun fall festivities. They're loads of fun to do with family, friends or even a special someone. Happy fall, ya'll!
