What activities are you involved in?

I'm involved in Marching Band, Revolution, National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Winter Percussion, Baker's Dozen A cappella ensemble, and the New World Singers.

 

What is your favorite spirit week day this year?

My favorite day of spirit week is "Toga Day" (CHS Hall of Fame Friday).

 

What Elementary school did you attend?

I went to West Park Elementary.

 

What's your favorite part of Homecoming?

My favorite part of homecoming is dancing and hanging out with my friends!

 

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

What sets me apart from the other candidates is my musical talent. I am heavily involved in the CHS Vocal and Instrumental departments and am proud to share my music with the school and the community in hopes of inspiring others to become united through music.

What's your favorite school lunch?

Handsdown, Taco Pizza. It is so good and I get it whenever it's available.

What sets you apart from other candidates?

I believe what sets me apart from the other candidates is my passion for wanting to make a positive impact on my school in every and any way I can. I have been able to create a positive environment and touched so many of the lives at CHS through the last fours years I've spent from being involved in countless organizations and clubs. When I graduate from Columbus High School I want to have left it a better place than when I first stepped into the doors as a freshman. Columbus High School and the people who fill the hallways and classrooms have shaped me into the person I am today and being able to give back to the school and the people within it has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever experienced.

My favorite dress-up day for spirit week this year would have to be Adam Sandler Day!

 

Favorite part of Homecoming?

My favorite part of homecoming is getting to show off my dance moves on the dance floor and sing to some of my favorite songs at the top of my lungs alongside my closest friends.

I bring my own lunch every day from home but if I did eat at school my favorite school lunch would have to be the chicken wraps and salads.

Im involved in cheerleading, National Honor Society, Captain’s Chorale, New World Singers, CHS 101, Top 10%, CHS Ambassadors, HOSA, Immanuel Luetheran Youth Group. I also dance at Lynette’s Dance Studio.

I loved Pink day

Where did you go to elementary school? 

I went to Columbus Christian School

What is your favorite part of homecoming? 

I feel my favorite part is the excitement everyone has to go to the game and celebrate together as a student body. I also love the posters around school with the faces of all candidates. Of course, the dance will be a wonderful highlight. It is fun to dress up and come to school and have fun with everyone. One final highlight for me will be golf senior night which is the same night as the homecoming game.

What would set you apart from other candidates?

 I believe that my journey has been different from theirs, I did not attend middle school and transferred from Nebraska Christian my freshman year. It made adjusting to the school and to the people difficult and at times painful. I did not know anyone and I had to start finding my own pace without the support of friends. However, in doing so, I learned a lot about myself. I learned about the importance of being nice to everyone and to value kindness, the value of a smile and how crucial it is to make others feel like they matter

Are there any songs you would like to have played at homecoming? 

I love 80's music, so anything 80's would be fantastic

What is your favorite school lunch? 

I really like the chicken rap, I love when the have peaches or fresh fruit like Kiwis.

 

Noah Lawrence-

 

What activities are you involved in?

I am involved in Cross Country, Track and Field, FCA, CHS 101, and Godteens.

What activities are you a part of?

Reagan Messersmith-

 

What activities are you involved in?  

I am involved in Diamond Dancers, iDance Project, National Honor Society, Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, STRIVE Tutors, BIONIC, Student Council, and CHS 101

What is your favorite part of hoco? 

I love getting to dance with my best friends without anybody caring

 

What sets you apart from the other candidates? 

I think all of the candidates have their own wonderful qualities that make them so unique but I feel that I can try out anything new and have fun with it. Just a few examples are volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, video games, kickball, and card games. Although I am not the most exceptional at a majority of these, I think of myself as a jack of all trades.

 

What song do you want to hear at the dance? 

Probably Cotton Eye Joe because I could dance to that song till I drop. The dance that goes to it is so fun and a great calf workout.

 

Favorite lunch at school? 

I think the macaroni and cheese is pretty good but I hope that one day they bring back Bosco sticks or smiley potato fries.

 In 1st grade, I got a higher spelling test score than Liam Blaser.

Football, Powerlifting, and I deliver coffee to the teachers on Thursdays and Fridays

I am nice, and outgoing, have lots of friends, and enjoy being part of the Football and Powerlifting teams. I also enjoy helping my mom at home.
