Frog Eye Salad Recipe

Is your family looking for delicious fruit and noodle salad for family gatherings? Well, you turned to the right place! This isn’t an ordinary salad; this contains fruit, Acini Di Pepe noodles, marshmallows, and much more. Now, who doesn’t love a tasty salad with fruit? I’m telling you right now, this is a fantastic froggy salad for you and it is so easy to make!

Materials:

• A bowl

• A pot 

• A saucepan

• A spoon

• A whisk

• A rubber scraper

• Measuring cups

Ingredients:

• 8 ounces of Acini Di Pepe noodles

• 1 / 2 cup of Sugar

• 1 egg

•  1 tablespoon of flour

• 1 can of pineapple (the juice and fruit will both be used but at different points in the recipe)

• 1-2 cans of mandarin oranges (no juice) 

• 1 cup of marshmallows

• 8 ounces of Cool Whip

• Steps:

1. First, you are going to cook the pasta until the noodles get soft. When they are all done, then strain the water and put them in a bowl.

2. Next, in a small saucepan add the can of pineapple juice, 1 whisked egg, 1/2 cup of flour, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Mix the ingredients together using medium heat, whisking the mixture until it thickens. 

3. Pour mixture over pasta and mix together. 

4. Add the leftover fruit from your 1 can of pineapple, mandarin oranges, and 8 ounces cool whip into the bowl with the pasta. 

5. Finally, mix thoroughly with a rubber scraper until it’s fluffy. Lastly, let your salad refrigerate for 30 mins.

6. Enjoy your frog eye salad!

This simple, yet tasteful dish is perfect for family gatherings or just to snack on at home. I would say that this side dessert is not like your everyday salads. This has a little bit of everything such as noodles, fruit, and marshmallows. Now, when have you heard of that? Yeah, didn’t think so. I’m going to leave it at this… GO MAKE IT!
