In place of this month's formal meeting please complete the discussion post in Schoology. This is used to coordinate with your team for various events. You are required to work through a practice test, for each event, as a team to prepare relevant notes and resources to use in the actual competition. A passerby is being hailed as a hero for risking his own life to help rescue a Wyoming family after their Jamestown home erupted into flames early Tuesday morning.
A 34-year-old mother and her four young children, ages 12, 8, 6 and 4, were asleep in their Jamestown house when a fire erupted in the home.
Ryan Pasborg was running late for work Tuesday morning as he traveled from his home in Green River towards town when he smelled smoke and saw flames coming from a bedroom window.
In other news, today is national fettuccine alfredo day.

This important announcement is for any senior whose prospective college requires a mid-year transcript. While the majority of colleges do not require these, you should double check to see if your school needs an updated transcript. If so, login to Naviance to request one ASAP. Be sure to check out directions on how to request this in the Class of 2022 Schoology group.

The junior class will be selling valentine's day candy grams at lunch all this week! You can make a bag of candy to send to that special someone or a special friend! You can mix and match and get 2 for $3 or 5 for $5. You can buy them on the spot at lunch or have them sent to their homeroom, which will be delivered on Monday, February 14th during homeroom! All proceeds go to the junior class of 2023!

Saturday, wrestling lost 56-29 vs Chambersburg. Tanner McCracken, Scott Winter, and Brandon Shimp all had pins against their opponents. Boys basketball lost 61-53 at CV. Dylan Kohl was top scorer at 21 for the Mounts with 5 three pointers.
this weekend in rifle action, The B pairs team, or shooters who have never competed in a match prior to this season of Adelaide Faccio and Nathan Bueler won first place in the division with a score of 404.9. Second place was a 401.9.
Ephrata's A pairs teams or shooters who have competed in a match prior to this year finished as follows:
Ava Howard and Lauren Zimmerman finished 6th with a score of 410.3
Madeline Sherk and Dana Belfiore finished 13th with a score of 405.3
Corbin Wise and Camille Cochran finished 16th with a score of 399.8
The Unified Sports Programs are designed to promote Physical activity, friendship, respect, and acceptance.
· On a Unified Track Team, students of all levels compete alongside one another.
· Each team member competes in one track event, one field event, and one relay.
· Competitors are divided into ability levels, so you are challenged, but have meaningful competitions.
· Through this experiences, people of all abilities build relationships and have fun while training, competing and having fun.
· The time commitment is approximately 1.5 hours, 2 evenings per week, beginning March 16th and running through the spring sports season.
· Varsity letters are awarded to those who participate for the entire season.
· There are no tryouts for this sport, but you will need a physical to participate.
· Sign-up in the athletic office beginning Monday Feb. 7th to become a part of this winning experience!
