This announcement is for all freshmen: Individual Freshmen Transition meetings with your counselor begin on Monday, October 18th. Meetings are 10 minutes each and will focus on; a discussion about 1st semester classes, a reflection on your transition to EHS, as well as a conversation about possible future career directions. Please go the EHS Counseling website to sign up for a time slot for your meeting. You can also get there by using the link for the signup page found on your Schoology newsfeed as well. Be sure to select a date and time that works best for your schedule – if you have a study hall, that would be the ideal period for this meeting.
Right after Ephrata AM is the perfect time to open your laptop and sign up for a time slot for your meeting – don’t delay!

Sign up to take the ASVAB today! If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB. The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals. This free assessment is offered at EHS on Thursday, November 4th, and there is absolutely no military commitment by taking the test. You can find the sign up link in Schoology as well as on the Counseling webpage.

Yesterday, boys soccer went into overtime again at E town after a 0-0 score in the first 80 minutes. Shortly into the first overtime period, Simon Yoder scored off an assist by Caleb Gaston for the golden goal win. Field hockey held on to win a tight match 3-2 vs Manheim Central. Ava Wolf and Anna Commero scored in the 1st Quarter and Claudia Pfautz scored in the 3rd in the win. Girls soccer also went to overtime vs E town after a 1-1 tie in regular time. The lady mounts were down a goal for most of the game till the 72nd minute when Emily Weidner found the back of the net. In overtime, it didn't take long for Cara Tiesi to score again for the come from behind win. Tennis won 5-0 vs Solanco, and volleyball handled the Warriors 3-0. Courtney Smith had 11 kills in the shutout win.
Today, cross country is home.

Tomorrow is Celebrity/ Character Day. Dress like your favorite celebrity or character from a book, tv show, film, or pop culture!
Thursday is Generations Day: 9th graders dress like babies, 10th graders dress like kids, 11th graders dress like parents/ adults, and 12th graders dress like senior citizens
Friday is Ephrata Pride Day! Show your school spirit and come out to the game!!!

Voting for this Years Homecoming Queen is now open on Schoology. Check each of your graduation class’s Schoology groups to vote. Voting is open right now AND will close Friday October 8th at High Noon! Don’t delay and vote today!

Homecoming ticket Sales will continue through each and every lunch until Friday OCTOBER 8th.
Tickets will be $10 before AND $15 at the door.
With the dance being outside at the War this year, the snack bar will be open. Here is a list of just a few things that will be available the night of the dance.
