NEWS INTRO

In today's news, the remains of the Chinese rocket that was hurtling back towards Earth have crashed into the Indian Ocean. The bulk of the rocket was destroyed as it re-entered the atmosphere, but what was left landed just west of the Maldives on Sunday. The monitoring service Space-Track, which uses US military data, said the rocket was recorded above Saudi Arabia before it fell into the Indian Ocean near the Maldives. In other news, on this day in history, in 1773, Parliament passes the Tea Act, which taxed all the Tea in the American Colonies and eventually led to the Boston Tea Party.
