Good Morning Ephrata NAMES today is Tuesday January 19, 2021. We are officially halfway through the school year! Please rise for a moment of silence and the pledge to the flag.

A reminder to all students that the second semester begins TODAY on Tuesday, January 19th.
You will not be receiving a paper copy of your 2nd semester schedule this year. Instead, you should be sure to check it out through the PowerSchool portal asap. You can do this by clicking on “My Schedule” from the menu on the left side of the home screen.
If you are a long term hybrid or online student (disregard if you are just quarantined), you need to review the listing of courses on the EHS website that will not work being online to make sure that you don’t have any of these on your schedule as you will not be able to take them during the second semester since you are not physically in the high school. Please message your counselor with a course that you would like to take in its place (see the open class listing on the EHS Counseling website), as these will be dropped if they are on your schedule.
If you want to add a course in place of a study hall, check the open class listing, and Schoology message your counselor with the name of the course and the period that you are switching with a study hall.
If you changed your mind and wish to drop a course, we need you to have your parent email your counselor with the requested change.

In today's news, a man name Aditya Singh was found living in an airport for three months. Aditya was said to be too scared to fly during the pandemic so he lived undetected for three months in the Chicago international airport. He was arrested on Saturday when airline staff asked him to produce some identification and he pointed to a missing operations manager badge. He managed to live on handouts from other passengers.
