All students will receive a copy of their second semester schedules this afternoon in homeroom.  Please note that study halls will be inserted into missing periods on your schedule. If you wish to pick up a class instead of a study hall, be sure to check out the EHS Counseling website for a listing of available open class options; this listed is updated regularly.  If you changed your mind about a course, you need to have your parents email your counselor with the requested change.

Students are expected to remain in selected courses for the entire term.  Withdrawing from a course after the 8th class meeting will result in the student receiving a “WF” (withdrew failing) grade for each marking period as well as final grade.  Please note that a “WF” along with another class failure could affect eligibility for student activities/sports.

2020’s been quite a year, right? Now, you have the opportunity to leave your mark for future generations so they can get a taste of what 2020 was. On Thursday during Mountaineer Block, we will be creating items to add to a time capsule (to be opened several years from now) that showcases some of the differences this year brought for us. Have something you would like to add? Maybe a photo, a concert program, a newspaper article? Bring it in on Thursday December 17 to your homeroom. Thanks for making this mark on history!

In today's news, President-elect Joe Biden has officially been confirmed by the Electoral college. He is now one step closer to inauguration. In a speech after the announcement, he said US democracy had been "pushed, tested and threatened" and "proved to be resilient, true and strong". Also in that speech he said that it is time to turn the page. He had also condemned president Donald Trump for trying to overturn the election. It was confirmed that Biden has won the election with 306 electoral votes while President Trump had 232.

Attention snow lovers!!!  The forecast is SNOW this week.  To celebrate the Ski & Snowboard Club is extending sign-ups through this Friday.  See Ms. Brimhall or Mr. Shortuse for details.  A $50 deposit is needed to secure your spot.  We travel to Bear Creek 4 times starting in January.  Hope to see you on the slopes!

Attention All Students!!

The EHS Theatre Program has extended the video submissions deadline for thier upcoming spring musical production of "Guys and Dolls" to Friday, December 18th.  Any student interested in auditioning should review the audition information which includes selected song, monologue, and google doc. This can be found on the Guys and Dolls Schoology Group.

You may use the access code BHVJ-2GZD-TCP9W to login to this group. Please note there will be callbacks by invitations only and will most likely be held AFTER the holiday break. Students who are interested in stage crew and pit should complete the online google doc located in Schoology Guys and Dolls group. The show is scheduled for March of 2021.

All are welcome to audition. No experience necessary. Please email Mr. Gonzalez or Mrs. Umholtz if you have any questions.
