Not sure what to get your little sister for the holidays? Want to make sure you have a book to read that isn’t on a screen? Think Dad would like a new cookbook?
You’re in luck! Remember how exciting book fairs were in elementary school? Look no further for the COVID-friendly option in 2020. Local bookstore, Aaron’s Books in Lititz, is hosting a virtual book fair for EHS!
You can go to the store and show the flyer, print or on your phone (check @mountsmediacenter on Instagram, Schoology or see a library staff member) OR order online and use the code EHS20 when you check out. You can opt to pay a small fee to have it shipped to your house OR select free school delivery and your purchases will be delivered in school before Christmas break.
Be on the lookout for staff recommendations!
Happy reading!

In today's news, a 90 year old woman has become the first woman in the UK to receive the COVID 19 vaccine. Hers was done at University hospital but about 70 hospitals nationwide are gearing up for the vaccine. She was given one of the first 800,000 doses that will be given out within the next couple weeks with up to four million more doses coming by the end of the month. Matt Hancock, the health secretary, says he is thrilled to see a vaccine go out but he is still urging people to fall the restrictions as the fight is still not over. Seems like we are in the home stretch of the virus but please just wear your mask, wash your hands, and social distance so we can all go back to normal soon.
