The Newfield varsity boys basketball team has defeated their cross-district rivals, the Centereach Cougars in OT with the final score being 62-59 as they advance to a 6-5 overall record. The Wolverines also move up to 4-1 at home this season. Colin Cassaro came up with a big scoring game with a total of 30 points. Ziggy Hoe had a total of 11 points in the game. The Newfield Wolverines will be at Smithtown West on Saturday January 11th at 12pm.
