Doral Out for G7

President Donald Trump did an about face and canceled plans to  use the Trump owned Doral golf resort in Miami for the G-7 summit next year. The announcement comes after bipartisan condemnation and concern from both Democratic and Republican lawmakers. 

Consideration for an alternative spot for hosting the summit now goes to the other finalists for G-7, which includes two sites in Utah and one in Hawaii.  White House acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said the White House advance team will make its decision shortly.

Historic Women Spacewalk

The First All-Woman Spacewalk happened just in time for Women’s History Month with Christina Koch and Anne McClain making history on when they ventured outside the International Space Station for a six-and-a-half-hour mission.  Another important part of the mission, Ms. Koch will remain in in orbit on the International Space Station  for a number of months, so that researchers can observe the effects of long-term spaceflight on a woman’s body.
