Will Rosselló Resign?
Puerto Rico continues to be embroiled in daily protests calling for Gov. Ricardo Rosselló resignation over a corruption scandal involving leaked text messages between the governor and top aides.Nearly 900 pages of private chats between the governor and members of his administration were leaked last week, exposing conversations where the men mocking women, disabled people, and victims of Hurricane Maria. US lawmakers including Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., and Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. have also called for the Governor to step down.
Many Puerto Ricans believe that the scandal will prevent the island form receiving must needed aid that will help the island recover from the lasting economic effects of Hurricane Maria.

More than 600 million people sat glued to their TV's on July 20th, 1969, as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took the first steps on the moon's surface. The astronauts made history as the first humans to touch soil on the moon. The Apollo 11,mission which also included Michael Collins, was the apex of the Apollo program, which advanced Nasa's spaceflight program in ways never thought possible. The landing on the moon was a major accomplishment for the United States in the space race with Cold War rival the Soviet Union.
Heat Wave
The east coast of the US endured a dangerous heat wave that caused limited black outs and at least 6 deaths. Events across the region were canceled as people tried to stay cool at beaches, pools and inside in front of their air conditioners.
