Earth, what comes to your mind when you hear this word?  I think about the plant whose environment is slowing dying, and we, the people who inhabit it, are killing it. Sometimes you do not even know you are doing it, because it isn’t harming you in any way. 

One of the strongest causes is carbon dioxide that is released from the vehicles that we use every day. The car you drive every day to work, going out, or even just joy riding leaves only a small footprint on the earth. It is shown that 20 pounds of carbon dioxide is released and can you guess how much gas that is. It only takes one gallon of gas to create that much carbon dioxide. Another thing we use that produces as much as a car is your lawn mower. You think that you are making the lawn you own nice and neat, but really you are killing it slowly. 

One of the highest things in the world to produce carbon dioxide is air travel. You know that package you had overnight shipping on to have it flown, delivered, and shipped to your house can produce more than 400 Kilograms of carbon dioxide into the air. 

I could go on and on about all the things that could cause our world to rot from the inside out. Will you be the person who makes a change and take better of your planet? That means you care. The smallest change can turn into a big one. The world is a beautiful place, giving us beautiful things to look at everyday, and beautiful sunsets to watch every night.
