The EU recently passed Article 13, a law that will crack down on copyright rules on platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. This article will require these platforms to remove any copyrighted material from their pages. This is an extremely controversial topic in Europe right now because people complain it will limit creators such as famous You Tubers and others. Another problem with the article is it demands that these platforms take down anything that violates the copyright laws but trying to find these breaches are extremely complicated. I personally believe that these Articles will not be as effective as the EU hopes and will be thrown away as a failed experiment.
