Brian Boyle Traded as Devils Continue to Spiral Downward

This afternoon, 4th line center and Masterton Trophy winner Brian Boyle was traded to the Nashville Predators for a 2nd round draft pick. Brian Boyle joined the team before the 2017-18 season. Boyle recording 26 goals, 16 assists, and 42 points in 116 games played with New Jersey. Boyle, now famously known for his victory against leukemia, was a true asset in the Devils playoff run in the 2017-18 season and again this year with his clutch goals and beautiful assists. Unfortunately, it was not enough to help the team get back into the win column. Ray Shero thanked boyle for his time in New Jersey in a statement sent out by the team.
