On December 21st, East Juniata participated in the first annual spike-ball cornhole tournament. The heart club sponsored this event in hopes of raising money for patients with heart diseases. Being part of the heart  club and knowing that it helps people not only with my own heart issue but other people means more to me than most people. Students enjoyed doing this tournament, and for being the first one, it did well. We raised over $300 between people playing  and people spectating. Hopefully next year when I’m gone, it will do just as well.
