The Boys Basketball team last year did not do great. They only won 5 out of 22 games. The coaches and teammates were all disappointed with the short and bitter season. Everyone returning was prepared to do the work to not let that happen again. Over the summer many players on the basketball team went to workout sessions to get stronger. Most players went to open gyms to work on their skills as well. This year things have changed. The Boys Basketball started out the season great, within the first 7 games they were 5-2. Which is already better then last years start. They have showed great improvement on teamwork, and the effort they give is more then last year. The coaches have been putting there all in on, trying to get us prepared for games. Players have given it their all every game. The new season poses new challenges for the team to overcome, like a chance at getting into districts. Right now, the Boys Basketball team is 3rd in districts. With the loss to Juniata they are very close to dropping out of 3rd. The team and everyone included is very hopeful for this season to go well.
