On Friday January 4th the East Juniata Highschool Girls basketball team held it’s annual White Out Game. For the Game the Lady Tigers of East Juniata took on their rivals the Lady Indians of Juniata. The first game the Junior Varsity teams took on each other. At the end of the fourth quarter the East Juniata Junior Varsity lady tigers completed a win by a large margin. Next was the varsity game, the game everyone was waiting for. During the game each team had a large student section supporting them. During the first quarter the East Juniata Lady Tigers had the Juniata Indians by a 10 point lead. In the second period the Tigers held their lead. In the third period the Indians started to catch up with the Tigers, giving the Tigers only a 3 point lead. Then, the fourth quarter. Both student sections stood for the last quarter, each cheering on their team with great passion. In the end, the East Juniata Lady Tigers took home a victory with the final score of 39-34.
