On January 4, the East Juniata Girls Basketball team went head to head with the Juniata girls at EJ.  The game is called “Coaches vs. Cancer Whiteout” because all the profits made that night were then donated to the American Cancer Society.  The fans from both sides came to support the fight in defeating cancer by wearing white.  

Our JV won big, while the varsity game was kept much closer and neither team dominated.  It was very exciting and stressful to watch as a fan and student.  Yet, after 9 whole seasons, EJ came out on top.  Our girls won the game by 5 points and had a score of 39 to the Indians’ 34.
