Christmas came early to room 130. Mrs. Watto surprised her students with a fun chemistry lab right before Christmas break. In this lab, they turned test tubes into Christmas ornaments. They started with ordinary test tubes, and then they mixed together chemicals, in order to turn the test tube silver. After that, they were allowed to decorate their test tubes however they wanted. Mrs. Watto provided ribbons, hot glue, and a hook. After everyone was finished, they could take them home to add to their Christmas tree. It was a great way to end the year in chemistry class.
