This years homecoming was a little different. Instead of the typical student body voting on a male and female to be on the homecoming court; the court was chosen by coaches and teams. There were a male and female selected to represent a sport, the candidates did not have to play the sport yet were selected because the coaches felt like those certain candidates were a good representation of the school.

This year there were twenty two students, so eleven pairs on the homecoming court. The representatives were: Band (Camilla Groce and Bryson Kantz,) Baseball (Anna Brackbill and Albert Heister,) Cheerleading (Malia Greene and Tyrell Tittler,) Track and Field (Rebecca Book and Nicholas Pillot,) Boys Basketball (Emily Wert and Beau Stuck,) Girls Soccer (Carly Beaver and Riley Hepner,) Girls Basketball (Alyssa Hibbs and Bryce Martin,) Field Hockey (Kayla Forry and Hayden Slingland,) Boys Soccer (Maddison Coudriet and Nathanael Losch,) Softball (Taylor Apple and Conner Clayton,) and lastly Golf (Riley French and Ethan Jamison.) All of these candidates had a very good chance at winning king and queen.

At the girl’s first basketball game we had our homecoming. During halftime we all walked out and they announced this years king and queen. Congratulations Maddison Coudriet and Nathanael Losch, 2018 homecoming king and queen.
