The East Juniata Girls Basketball season is about to take off. The home opener is Friday, December 7 against Southern Huntington. The team has 4 returning letter winners, one being Paris Feltman.  Paris will have to sit this season out due to an injury during soccer season. Carly Beaver, Thea Neimond and Clarye Guyer are the other returning letter winners. Alyssa Hibbs is an advantage the team has this year that they did not last year due to a knee injury. 

Last season the girls went 14-8, struggling on the offensive end, but having one of the best defenses in the league. With a big girl this year and a different approach on the offense, they hope to be a challenge for other teams in the league. So far they have scrimmaged Mfflinburg and Fannett Metal with 3 more days to prepare for their big homecoming opener.
