Border Closed
The San Ysidro Port of Entry was shut down temporarily this weekend after hundreds of migrants from Central America approached a pedestrian crossing point. The San Ysidro entrance is one of the worlds busiest border crossings. Witnesses claim that US border authorities fired tear gas and rubber bullets as hundreds of migrants from Central America approached the US at a metal fence where train tracks run through the border.

Climate Affects $$$
Major new climate change findings were released on Friday and the news is not good. The assessment determined that global warming could cause more harm to the US economy by the end of the century than the Great Recession did in the early part of the 20th century.
The impacts and costs of climate change are already being felt in the United States, and changes in the likelihood or severity of some recent extreme weather events can now be attributed with increasingly higher confidence to human-caused warming,” according to the new report, the second volume of the fourth National Climate Assessment.

Brexit a Done Deal
European Union leaders have approved a deal that will facilitate the UK's withdrawal and future relationship with the rest of the EU. The negotiations surrounding Brexit have been ongoing since March 2017 and will hopefully lead to an end of the fury and confusion existing in both the Leave and Remain voters. Parliament is expected to vote on the deal in mid December, but there is no guarantee on its approval.
