This is a piece I did for my pen and ink project. I did this piece in my Drawing and Painting 2 class at Montour High School. The pen and ink technique can be very difficult at times do to the smearing of the ink. The ink also tends to drip from the pen at a rapid pace depending on how you use it. If you become aware and learn the proper techniques the final piece can look very good. I chose to do J Coles KOD album cover because he is one of my favorite artist and the album was very powerful and informative to the youth. J Cole gave a very powerful message saying the drugs and bad influences are taking over kids in today's world and the outcome can be lethal so as a leader and influence to many J Cole preaches about the dangers that come from drugs throughout his album.
