On a rainy Friday morning, Juniata High School gathered in the auditorium to pay tribute to our country's veterans, both past and present. Speakers included Mr. Apple, Mr. Strawser, and this year's Voice of Democracy speech winner, Grace Smith. A local honor guard comprised of veterans presented the flag and conducted a 21 gun salute. The ceremony also featured a reading of names of the young Juniata County men who gave their lives in service to our country.
