The Midterms Are Here

It seems like we've been talking about the midterm elections since Donald Trump was elected 2 years ago. Our best advice? If you are eligible to vote, exercise your right to do it. If you have strong opinions about how you see your county, city, state, and federal government, voting is a fundamental part of having your voice heard.

Another Day, Another Shooting

A lone gunman killed two women in a Florida yoga studio on Friday, injuring at least four others before killing himself. The shooter, Scott Beierle, was a far-right extremist who railed against women, black people, and immigrants in a series of online videos and songs on his YouTube channel.

Twitter Battles Bots

Twitter is coming for the bots. The social media giant eliminated more than 10,000 accounts that appeared to have "Democrat" identities but were actually programed to discourage people form voting in the midterm elections. These misinformation accounts were identified by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and Twitter made the deletions in September and October.
