NC Thespian Filmworks is a weeklong film challenge designed for high school students in NC. Students will have a week to plan, write, shoot, edit, and digitally submit a film for consideration. The kickoff date will be October 26 at 8 am. All films need to be submitted by November 3 by 11:59 pm. All films submitted that follow the guidelines will be featured in the public screening on December 8, 2018 in Greensboro, NC.

Flowers to Ashes was produced by Jesse C. Carson Students Heather Mauzy, Parker Steele, Jake Galloway and Brooke Morrison. This film bases it's story on the complications of abuse, and the evolution of a young girl within an abusive relationship.
