On Friday, October 13, at the Juniata versus Halifax Area football game, was senior recognition night for band. There were seven seniors from East Juniata recognized - Rebecca Book, Riley French, Cami Groce, Bryson Kantz, Zach Leitzel, Nicholas Pillot, and myself. The pink out game was also held this night. The combined Juniata/East Juniata band turned pink for the night, as did the cheerleaders. A pink tee-shirt and a pair of jeans was the uniform for everyone in the band and the cheerleaders were covered in pink. This helped cause awareness towards Cancer and Breast Cancer.
