Paige Smith, a junior at East Juniata High School, has been ranked first in her class since freshman year. Never has she had a GPA below a 98 and that number continues to increase. When asked how she keeps up with such great academic standards, Paige said, “I like to get my work done in advance of when it is due and I make sure that prioritize both my time and all of my assignments.” Paige is also involved in Chorus and Band and puts many hours into both of those activities. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and has been the president of the Class of 2020 for the past two years. Paige’s intent is to be the valedictorian of her class next year, and continue to be the president. Paige hopes to attend the University of Pennsylvania which is a private Ivy League school in Philadelphia. In order to become accepted, she plans to continue her academic excellence and strive to do her best in everything that she does.
