Migrant Caravan Moves Closer

A migrant caravan with thousands of people from Honduras and other regions of Central America continued their journey north in an attempt to reach the US border. President Donald Trump, who ran on a platform of promising to limit illegal immigrant border crossings from the south, has warned the migrants to turn back. Trump has threatened to close the US border and cut aid to countries allowing the caravan to pass.

Frat Party Disaster 

More than 30 people were injured after a floor collapsed at a Clemson University fraternity party in South Carolina on Saturday night. As the DJ dropped beats, the center of the dance floor caved in sending members of the the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and their guests into the basement below.

The Threat to Transgender Rights

LBGTQ activists are getting ready for a battle as the Trump administration has plans to roll back Obama-era policies granting federal recognition to transgender individuals. The New York Times reported that the Department of Health and Human Services plans to create a legal definition of gender as a fixed status determined biologically by the genitalia a person is born with.
