On October 17th, East Juniata High School had their annual National Honors Society Induction for new students joining the club. Twenty-three new students joined the club and officially became members of National Honors Society. The inductees were officially accepted by lighting their candle and repeating a pledge to uphold their duties as a member of the club. These students are now committed to making the school and community a better place.
National Honors Society is a successful program that helps events and other things at the school run smoothly. In National Honors Society, you must possess four different qualities: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. All the new students inducted, and the students who have been inducted previous years, have proven that they can and will continue to possess these four attributes. Congratulations to the new members!
