Shark Attack
A 26-year-old man has died after being attacked by a shark while boogie boarding at a beach in Cape Cod, MA. The victim, Arthur Medeci, was pulled from the water by his brother and fellow beachgoers rushed to his side attempting CPR and trying to stem the bleeding from the damage inflicted by the shark. He was later taken to the local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A local fisherman who witnessed the attack described it as reminiscent of the shark attack in the thriller Jaws.
“I was that guy on the beach screaming, ‘Shark, shark!'” Booth recalled. “It was like right out of that movie Jaws. This has turned into Amity Island real quick out here.”
