LeBron to Lakers
Goodbye, Cleveland. Hello, Los Angeles! Lebron James inked a 4 year $154 million deal to play for the LA Lakers. In Lebron's second go round with the Cavaliers, he established himself as the leader in nearly every major statistical category for the franchise: games played, points, rebounds, assists and steals. James previously stated his intention to end his career with the Cavs, acknowledging his status as a role model beyond basketball in the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Marching to Keep Families Together
Thousands of people attended marches across the United States on Saturday to demand that the Trump administration stop separating families at the U.S.-Mexico border. The theme for the protests was "Families Belong Together" and organizers are hoping that the outcry will get the Trump administration to reunite thousands of immigrant children separated from their families after crossing into the United States.

Mexico’s Elections
The former mayor of Mexico City, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has scored victory in Mexico's presidential election. Obrador, also know by "AMLO," takes the presidency at a time of strained relations with the U.S. and major issues of corruption and spiraling crime rates for his country. Despite the left wing candidates' criticism of the Trump administrations policy on trade and immigration, President Trump still took the time to send a tweet of congratulations on Amlo's win.
