The acronym STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. More importantly, STEM represents a multidisciplinary approach to student exploration. This year, students focued on using STEM-skills to think and act as scientists and engineers. Students connected understandings from various subject areas to devise solutions to a variety of challenges.  This year, students worked with LEGO building elements to design structures and solve problems given specific parameters. Students also worked in the outdoor classroom to explore their natural surroundings.
