Next Stop, Finals
They are going at it again! The Cleveland Cavaliers will meet the Golden State Warriors in the NBA finals. The familiar matchup is actually historic. The same two teams have never played in four consecutive NBA Finals – not the 1960s Celtics-Lakers, not the 1980s Celtics-Lakers, not 1980s Lakers-Pistons, not 1980s Sixers-Lakers.
And it is the first time in any major pro sports league that the same teams have met in the championship series four consecutive years.

It should be called the "summit of uncertainty." After President Trump issued a letter calling off the North Korea/South Korea/US summit last week, word is that it might be a go again. The U.S. is not going through with announcing major new sanctions against North Korea in hopes that it can get the June meeting between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un rescheduled in a way that everyone can save face. The first big storm of hurricane season wreaked havoc across the southeast and the Florida panhandle over Memorial Day with the rain causing floods responsible for the deaths of at least two people.

The news was shocking because we are used to Morgan Freeman being the voice of God and forces of good. The legendary actor was accused of inappropriate behavior on movies sets and red carpets by at least eight women. Freeman issued a statement saying, “I did not create unsafe work environments. I did not assault women. I did not offer employment or advancement in exchange for sex. Any suggestion that I did so is completely false.”
