Kayne's Not Crazy

Kanye continues to capitalize on his "attention seeking" behavior. The line between what's real and what is an effort to publicize his new music is confusing in ways only Kanye can be. After beginning the week by tweeting his support for President Donald Trump and conservative activist Candace Owens, West flipped the script on his new conservative fan base and tweeted a photo of Emma Gonzalez and referred to her as “my hero”. Stay tuned.

Teacher Strikes Continues

Teachers in Arizona are set to resume a walkout that started Thursday that has affected almost 850,000 Arizona schoolchildren. Educators remain frustrated with the pay hike proposal by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey. Educators across the state want more money for classroom resources and living wages, but, despite getting offers for increased school funding or pay, they say the money isn’t guaranteed and efforts don’t go far enough. The strike for better wages and support for schools has spread across the United States over the past few months and now include teachers from Wisconsin, West VirginiaOklahomaKentucky and Colorado.

War is Over 

It's been more than 65 years, but it looks like the Korean War is coming to an end. Both the North and South agreed they would work for peace on the Korean peninsula with Kim Jong-Un and Moon Jae-in stating that a formal end to the conflict set to be announced later this year.
