Students in Mr. Shoop’s world history class recently did presentations on India under British Control. Fellow student, Madison McDonald and I chose to learn more about India’s food culture. We chose to make a popular Indian dish called “Chicken Tikka Masala.” The dish consists of a chicken baked in a tomato and curry sauce. We served the dish with naan, a flatbread served with main dishes. We presented our creation to our fourth period class on Friday, April 20th. We also added a visual aide to accompany our food. Overall, the project was a great learning experience and helped us to further our knowledge in Indian culture.
