It's never too early to pay attention to politics! Fusfoo got the opportunity to interview congressional candidate Suraj Patel. He's running for a seat in the 12th congressional district, which includes most of Manhattan and Brooklyn along the East River. The district is home to many colleges including NYU, Baruch, Parsons School of Design, and the School of Visual Arts. This means that engaging millennials and young people will be crucial to his chances of winning. 

Patel is a first-generation American, born to a family who immigrated here to seek opportunity and a better future.
