The one and only Margaret Edwards went to Vocal All-State Jazz on April 18th through the 20th. On February 2nd, Edwards found out that she made it into All-States and was excited ever since. The concert, Friday the 20th was a group of 24 talented students from all over the state. They sang a lot of arrangements of classic jazz standards and also acappella songs. Edwards said she had tons of fun and enjoyed meeting so many new people. She also had a scat solo at the beginning of the concert. Edwards was a little nervous mainly because she tried to save her voice, but her throat still hurt. Over all, the All-State Vocal Jazz concert went very well for Edwards and she will cherish those memories forever.
